My Disclaimer:
 Please do not blindly follow a particular “diet” or “Lifestyle Change”. Understand why you are eating the foods that you are. Educate yourself on where your food comes from, what certain foods do to you, etc… Changing your actual eating and exercise habits, is much harder than most people realize. Educating yourself is key! Also, understand that what works for me, might not work for you. Experiment, see what works, what doesn’t. 

I have been meaning to finally finish this post for months, always waiting to put the final touches on it. Never enough material and never happy with the content, as new info and research drives me into another direction. So, I have decided why should this be a finalized post? This can be a living document of sorts… (updates will have an  logo next to them)

Western Evolution

Steve Gibson, of Gibson Research Corporation, someone who is highly respected in the computer security world, has recently taken a more detailed look at human biology and more specific, effects of Vitamin D and a Low Carb lifestyle. Steve Gibson also did an excellent podcast on Vitamin D on the TWIT network that was outstanding. You can find the 63 minute podcast here and I highly recommend you  review the vast Vitamin D material he presented here.

Peter Attia will focus on the possible advantages of a ketogenic diet in the following presentation:

There are a couple of books that changed my life, but I will list the ones related to personal health.

The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson – I read this book from cover to cover while on vacation in Jamaica. I was fascinated by this book on the simplicity of this “lifestyle”. What struck me most is that much of what I read were things that I have read over the years in articles, white papers, etc. Another great resource is Mark’s Daily Apple website.

The following is a list of documentaries that I recommend you watch. All links point to Netflix, but you can rent any of the titles at a Blockbuster or RedBox, if you don’t have a Netflix subscription. I recommended you watch them in the order presented.
